What cable should be used?
For a reliable and cost-effective PoE installation, use genuine solid-copper Cat6 Ethernet cable rather than copper-clad aluminium (CCA). A standard Ethernet channel is normally limited to 100 metres end to end; use outdoor-rated cable and weatherproof the camera connection where required.
How do non-PoE NVRs connect?
The ANNKE NNR168 and NNR3212 do not power cameras directly. Connect the ANNKE I51EM to a suitable IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or injector on the same network, then add it to the NVR.
