DVR Video Recorders

Shop DVR CCTV recorders for analogue security cameras and existing coaxial installations. A digital video recorder receives compatible camera signals through BNC connections and records footage to a suitable hard drive. HawkVision Pro supplies ANNKE equipment across the UK with practical compatibility advice.

Match the DVR to your cameras

Check the supported TVI, AHD, CVI or CVBS signal, camera count and recording resolution. A camera's maximum resolution and a DVR's HDMI output do not establish the resolution it can record. Compare the ANNKE DW81KN 3K Lite DVR with the other models below and match the exact camera mode before ordering.

Complete your analogue CCTV system

Browse analogue CCTV cameras and surveillance hard drives. Check whether a drive is included, its supported capacity, and whether audio over coax is supported by both camera and recorder. For a new Ethernet camera system, compare PoE NVR recorders, or read our NVR versus DVR guide. Availability and delivery information appear on each product page.

DVR recorder buying questions

Is a DVR the same as an NVR?

A DVR records compatible analogue camera signals, while an NVR receives video from compatible IP cameras over a network. Some hybrid DVRs support additional IP channels, but the exact model determines the limits.

Will every ANNKE camera work with an ANNKE DVR?

No. Match the exact camera technology, signal mode, resolution, frame rate and supported audio. Brand name alone does not establish compatibility.

Does an eight-channel DVR include eight cameras?

No. Channel count describes recorder capacity. A recorder-only listing does not include cameras, cables or a hard drive unless its selected configuration explicitly says they are supplied.

Use the NVR versus DVR comparison to choose the right recording technology, or ask us to check your camera and recorder models.
