CCTV Stocksbridge | PoE Cameras, NVRs & Equipment | HawkVision Pro

Need CCTV equipment for a Stocksbridge home, shop, workshop or larger property? HawkVision Pro supplies PoE cameras, NVRs, DVRs, surveillance storage and installation accessories from Sheffield.

Plan outdoor cable routes before camera positions

Where camera routes run externally or between different parts of a property, cable protection and route length should be considered before mounting. Use all-copper Ethernet for permanent PoE runs and keep external terminations protected.

Camera roles

The I91DS 4K 8MP PoE camera is suitable for detailed entrance or vehicle-approach coverage. The FCD800 180° camera can provide a broad overview where one position needs to see more.

Recorder and network capacity

Use the N98PBK 8-channel NVR for compact systems or the N96PBH 16-channel NVR where expansion is realistic. If an external switch is used, check PoE budget and uplink capacity.

Stocksbridge outdoor-installation checklist

Measure the proposed cable routes before deciding on switch placement. Exposed runs should use suitable cable and protected terminations, and remote groups of cameras may be better served by a local PoE switch than several long home-run cables. Also consider how the network will be maintained if the site expands later.

Can I add a switch to an existing PoE NVR system?

Often yes. The network, recorder channels, incoming bandwidth and switch power budget all need to be compatible.
