This compact HDMI extender kit transmits Full HD 1080P video at up to 60Hz over a single direct Cat5e or Cat6 cable for distances up to 30 metres (100 ft). It is ideal for CCTV installations where a DVR or NVR is positioned away from the monitor or television.

The kit includes a TX transmitter and RX receiver. The transmitter connects to the HDMI output of the DVR/NVR, while the receiver connects to the display. A single Cat5e/Cat6 cable links the two units.

How It Connects

  1. Connect the DVR/NVR HDMI output to the TX transmitter with an HDMI lead.
  2. Run a direct Cat5e or Cat6 cable from the TX unit to the RX receiver.
  3. Connect the RX receiver to the TV or monitor with an HDMI lead.

Important: although this product uses RJ45 connectors and Cat5e/Cat6 cable, it is an HDMI signal extender rather than an IP network device. The TX and RX units should be connected directly by the network cable and should not be routed through an Ethernet switch, router or network.
