CCTV Mexborough | Cameras, NVRs & DVRs | HawkVision Pro

HawkVision Pro supplies CCTV cameras, NVRs, DVRs, surveillance storage and installation accessories to Mexborough from Sheffield. We supply equipment for delivery rather than from a separate local branch.

Coverage for compact residential and retail sites

On smaller sites, overlapping cameras can waste channels and storage. Assign one clear purpose to each position: entrance identification, rear access, vehicle approach or general overview.

The I91DS 4K 8MP PoE camera is suitable for important access points, while the FCD800 180° camera provides wide-area overview coverage.

PoE or existing analogue?

For a new wired system, PoE offers a straightforward network architecture. Where serviceable coaxial cable is already present, the DW81KN hybrid DVR can support suitable upgrade projects.

Storage

Choose recording capacity from bitrate and retention requirements. Current options include SkyHawk 4TB and 6TB.

Mexborough system-sizing checklist

Count the cameras that genuinely add a new view, then allow only realistic spare channels. Confirm whether audio is needed, whether night-time colour or infrared is preferred, and how many days of footage must be retained. These decisions affect camera choice, recorder sizing and storage more than simply choosing the highest megapixel figure.

Can existing analogue cameras be replaced one at a time?

Potentially, if the DVR supports the replacement camera's signal format and resolution. Check the exact DVR and camera models first.
