Desktop firmware was never designed for this type of operation.
Over time, this can lead to reduced recording performance, increased wear and a greater risk of drive failure.

The objective is not to achieve the fastest benchmark speeds.
The objective is to record every frame reliably.
This design philosophy is one of the main reasons why surveillance drives consistently outperform standard desktop hard drives in CCTV applications.
